Choosing a wine press starts with how much fruit you bring in. Our Zambelli basket presses run from a 3.9L model for experiments and garagiste winemakers up to 477L, with 9.5L, 15L, 28L, 43L, 96L, 212L and 327L sizes in between. Manual and hydraulic semi-automatic versions are available, with wooden or stainless steel baskets and epoxy-coated stainless steel basins, in fixed or mobile configurations.
For gentle pressing, the Zambelli water press uses a stainless steel cage and rubber bladder to press at uniform pressure, giving high yield with minimal phenolic extraction. It is a mobile unit in 40L and 80L. The Zambelli vertical press is also suited to white and rosé production, where a soft press matters most.
Before the press comes the crusher destemmer, which removes stems and crushes grapes to prepare must for fermentation. Options include the Cantinetta in stainless steel at 220V or painted manual, the painted Canti at 220V, and a manual Frutta fruit crusher. For apples and other fruit at higher volumes, the Zambelli Muli Mix and Muli Max crushers are listed under winery equipment. Add your press or crusher to the quote list and we will help you match capacity to your harvest before quoting.
